Based on content views, sharing stats, high engagement, and tens of thousands of likes we know that the general public has an intense desire to learn the truth about what is really happening to people in our world as a result of botulinum toxin injections.
Our support group, social media channels, and Tox Safety website are the original source for compiled information on injuries, case studies, recovery protocols, and comprehensive resources on adverse events to botulinum toxin and IBP (Iatrogenic Botulism Poisoning.) To learn more about "What is IBP," please visit our resources section.
We have helped thousands of sufferers who had their lives turned upside down from life-threatening or debilitating adversities after botulinum toxin, while most medical providers failed to recognize the clinical signs of botulism and family members, or friends did not have a clue as to how to help, or what to do.
We have converted thousands of people away from the dark side of aesthetics through knowledge, awareness, self-advocacy, encouragement, and intrinsic fulfillment.
In a world, where those who have a vested interest in starting and keeping people using the world's most lethal neurotoxin, despite its black box warning label stating the risks...

Will you help make the world a safer and healthier place by not turning a blind eye to the truth?
Please reach out to us today, we would love to find out if you could help us tell our story.

Off-Label Procedures
Off-label procedures are unapproved indications for botulinum toxin. This means there is a lack of peer-reviewed studies, long-term safety information, and no specific regulation on dosing or product placement. Off-label procedures have not gone through approvals with regulating bodies, for example the MHRA, Health Canada, FDA, TGA, etc.
"Over two thirds of the use of Botox in the United States is off label, and that’s by design. Off-label means, not approved by the FDA. That has been Allergan's marketing strategy since day one. They get it approved for narrow uses and then they aggressively market it for off label use, which is illegal and they have pled guilty and paid a six hundred million dollar fine for off label marketing."
[Ray Chester, Civil Trial Lawyer]
Illegal marketing of off-label procedures is rampant by top 100 manufacturer trainers, and industry providers especially on social media. We have thousands of group members who have been severely debilitated from off-label botulinum toxin injections. Check out #top100injectors, (you'll see.)

Mental Health Issues & Suicides After IBP, (Iatrogenic Botulism Poisoning.)
"Unfortunately, over the years we have had group members take their own lives or family members who have lost their loved ones (including children) as a result of botulinum toxin poisoning."
[Botox Dysport (Side Effects) Support Group]

Botulinum toxin may cross the blood-brain barrier, or travel into the CNS system resulting in severe physiologically or emotionally driven anxiety, panic, or depression.

Botulinum toxin breaches brain cells.
Botulinum toxin travels into CNS system.
Botulinum toxin travels into the brain.

Anxiety and panic attacks are nearly universal in our members that come to us seeking help.
This same finding was also reported in the largest survey of its kind in the July 2023 study, Qualitative Quantitative and qualitative analysis of individual experiences post botulinum toxin injection.

Media Policy
Thank you for your interest in helping us share our story, and raise global awareness surrounding the dangers of botulinum toxin. Our team has a strict media policy due to the sensitivity of our cause and group members. Although, we allow media to join our online communities, we do not allow media to contact our group members without our permission.

We use proper medical terminology when referring to the adverse events of our sufferers, and instruct the media to do the same. "Iatrogenic Botulism Poisoning, or IBP" is the correct medical term for cosmetic or medically acquired botulism. To learn more about "What is IBP," please visit our resources section.
The policy below applies to all media individuals seeking sufferer stories, resources, or other information to share publicly.
• We require a face-to-face zoom meeting with potential media for articles, publications, documentaries, social media reports, etc. Please make your request by filling out our contact form, and we will get back to you as our schedule allows.
• The vision and concept of the piece must be discussed. Any media opportunities that we participate in, will contain NO PRO-botulinum toxin point of views. This will be discussed in-depth.
• Media may contact our members only AFTER members express interest, or give their explicit permission to be contacted.
• Since group member’s stories or personal health information is often used, they should be given the option to remain anonymous.
• Article/video approval prior to post, we appreciate being sent the article prior to post for our approval. We know this isn’t always possible, but truly appreciate it, as our topic and group members' sensitivity is of utmost concern.
• Attribution required. The support group BDSE on FB must be linked as well as our website at Tox Safety and awareness site, Never Tox on Instagram. This is so that readers know how to gain more information on adverse events from botulinum toxin. Links must appear in the article/video/etc. In addition to our links, a brief write-up about the coalition, awareness page, and support group is best. We are happy to supply the text if needed.
• Brand names of botulinum toxin ideally should be avoided. If a sufferer states the brand name they used, that is acceptable. But in written text about our resources, quoting Tox Safety, Never Tox, or the support group, etc. we prefer the medical term for Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveau, and Daxxify which is Botulinum Toxin A, or botulinum toxin.
